Moore Financial Management was founded in 2016 by Ross Moore and Ruth Moore joined the business in 2021. As small business owners, we’re well placed to understand the challenges faced by our clients. Because of this we can provide tailored solutions to perfectly suit their requirements.
I’m a Licensed Accountant based in Pembrokeshire and have lived here for over 15 years. I’ve always loved Pembrokeshire and, as my wife was born and brought up here, made a conscious decision to make it home. My children are really important to me and because of that I was keen that they were brought up and educated in the fantastic environment that Pembrokeshire offers.
I enjoy keeping fit and being outdoors, so I’m often on the Preseli mountains (hiking and biking), walking the coastal path or in the gym. A challenge is something I enjoy which I suppose is why I do things like climbing Ben Nevis and the Welsh 3 Peaks now and again. I also really enjoy travelling, both at home and abroad as well as building stuff, gardening, all things IT and reading when I get chance.
A Fellow Member of The AAT, I have over 30 years experience working as an accountant. During that time I’ve worked closely with Business owners, Directors and senior management in the Private, Public and Not for Profit sectors. Fellow membership (FMAAT) is the highest level of professional membership achievable with AAT. It’s only awarded to those with Senior Experience and advanced expertise that have demonstrated the required sustained professionalism it takes to be a leader in the finance industry.
But I’d always had my own ideas about how I would like to do things and what was important to me. Like you, I really wanted to be my own boss, which is why I set up Moore Financial Management.
Our aim is to remove the burden of financial administration from business owners so that they can concentrate on their core business.
