Did you know that you can send mail to serving armed forces personnel and their families through the Christmas Families Free Mail service? For free!
That’s right. Free!
I didn’t until recently but this year we’re taking full advantage of the brilliant Christmas Families Free Mail service. We think the lead up to Christmas is a pretty perfect time to give thanks.
You should only send something to someone you know and you do need to know their:
- Service Number
- Rank and Name
- Unit/Regiment, and
- Operation Name
As well as the British Forces Post Office (BFPO) number.
But once you have this you can pack something up, put the details on it and take it to any Post Office. They’ll do the rest. Did I mention it’s free? Well it’s free.
Obviously there’s the cost of whatever you’re sending but it’s a great way to show our appreciation for those who do so much for us. The men and women who keep us safe. As well as their families.
Heroes. Every One.
